Some bikes turn heads wherever they go and the GB500TT is one of them. It doesn’t take a whole heap of imagination to picture yourself hooning around the country lanes or along the seafront on this beautiful, retro machine.

The twin-port, singe cylinder 500cc café racer came out in 1986, styled on British bikes from the fifties and has remained a classic ever since. The twin shocks, the lipped seat, the clip-ons, the lines – it is a beautiful thing to look at.

Ours is in the original maroon. The overall condition is good and it pulls really well. In terms of cosmetics, there are some scratches on the right side of the tank and some signs of ageing – she is 33 years old – but overall it is very clean. It comes with a Super Trapp muffler which makes it sound as throaty and gutsy as it looks.
