1986 JDM Yamaha Serow 225 1KH low mileage and very clean
If you’re looking at this you probably know all about why Serows are so good, but I’ll bore you with a bit about them later anyway. First off, I just thought I should draw attention to the condition of this bike.
This bike is 33 years old but when I looked her over the only sign of any kind of ageing was a small scratch on either side of the engine covers. Forks – good; wheels – good; frame – good; tank – good; exhaust – good. You get the idea. This bike is in incredible condition for its age. She is a real find and on top of that, she has only done about 6,700 miles.
So, it’s a handsome bike. Now onto why Serows have such enduring appeal. Right from the first generation, they were loved for their light weight, ease of use and versatility. These are brilliant crossover bikes – good on road as well as out in the rough. Having a low seat and narrow body also meant that anyone can ride them. In addition to this, over the years they have proved themselves to be incredibly reliable and strong. Much tougher than they look.
At Seven Seas Motors we love to find bikes in good condition but this one is exceptional given its age and the type of bike it is. Add to that the popularity of the Serow, this one is a real find and we hope to find her a good home with someone who will use her while also appreciating her history.
This Serow has just arrived. It has been through the NOVA system. We can arrange registration and delivery. Registration is a 3-step process: obtain a dating certificate from a DVLA accredited dating officer; MOT; registration with DVLA. This costs £150 and takes about one month.
Payment can be made through direct debit or debit/credit card. FINANCE AVAILABLE
