1996 Yamaha Virago 250 Ref: 2068 £2,450

Virago either – female warrior. There’s nothing particularly feminine about this bike, but it definitely looks like it could take care of itself in a fisticuff.

This bike has a presence despite its small stature. The design – black tear-drop tank with gold edge, maroon lettering on silver, twin shocks, black frame – is supremely cool. The vibe is enhanced by the twin saddlebags, twin pipes sweeping their way down the right and backrest behind the pillion seat. And let’s not forget the stunning V-twin 4-stroke engine that sits in the middle. This bike has so much attitude it should have its own theme music. When you ride it, it’s hard not to whistle the theme from The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

In terms of condition, this bike is stunning. Twenty years old but only 5,002 miles and it’s clearly been looked after and dry stored. It rides smoothly and without fuss, enabling you to focus on looking cool and nonchalant.

We go to great lengths to find special bikes and think we have found a real beauty here. If you’re looking for a cruiser to put the Fonz to shame, but don’t fancy hauling 200+ kilos of metal in and out of the garage, come down to the mill and take a peek at this brilliant Japanese homage to American cruisers.

This bike has been through the NOVA (importation system). We can arrange registration and delivery. Payment can be made by credit/debit card. FINANCEAVAILABLE.
